"A good position for you and your body to be in your boat is to have a good operating stance, a upright posture. To avoid a lot of side to side leading when you are just paddling down stream. When you are paddling down forward you are taking you nice vertical forward strokes. Keep that upward body/posture and avoid just going back and forward. Cause in areas that you are creeking tends to be shallow if you are going side to side you can hit a lot of rocks, you can get your wrist and elbows caught on the rocks it is not going to feel very comfortable. "
