"When doing front side nose rolls your upper body comes into place as when you're doing your 180. Your 180 has to come around so your upper body has to be in the position to bring your whole body around as well as your snowboard. So your back foot comes into play when you have to pull it around. Here I am and I'm getting ready to roll off my nose. This is my nose on this here. So I'm going to be coming. I'm going to be doing the flat ground 180, rolling off my nose and coming around this way and returning going straight. So here you are flat foot, flat base, roll off your nose, come around, and continue riding switch."
