"MICHAEL LEWIS: Michael Lewis here with Christian Martial Arts. On behalf of Expert Village, we are here to talk today about executing an outboard wristlock. Just to cover everything again, first I will start with safety. When you are applying your techniques, do 'em nice, smooth and very slowly. Do it at a pace that is comfortable for both the person that is applying the wristlock and the person that is also having the wristlock executed on them. It is very, very important that both people are comfortable in doing that. As you gain more experience, you will be able to speed it up and have a little bit more life-like, more realistic when you are training. Also, we did cover how to do an outboard wristlock from a straight grab flipping over from a cross grab flipping over in the opposite direction, which is very important. We also covered how to do an outboard wristlock from knife strikes, from a knife thrust, rather, and from a gun technique and also how to execute throws at the end of it. All those techniques are very, very important because it helps you to transition. It gives you a lot of versatility in your techniques so you are better able to defend yourself."
