"My name is Michael Lewis with Yeshua Ryu Martial Arts on behalf of Expert Village. We're here today to cover the sai. Now I'm going to follow up to a previous technique. You're going to block, counter, but this time, you're going to hook into the back of the head and follow up with a new strike. So again, he comes with a down strike. I block, then I hook and move it out of the way. As I move it out of the way, I come through with a punch, pretty much catching him off guard. I follow it through with a punch. I use the hook-end of the weapon to hook into the back of his neck. From here, of course, I force him down to the ground so I'll be able to throw a knee strike up to his face. This technique is one of the more devastating techniques to use, so when you're practicing, also be careful that you don't actually stab somebody while you're practicing the technique. Again, using it from the second position, I hook the sword over, I twist, I hook it over so I have somewhat control of his vocal, I throw the strike in again, then I hook into the back of his neck, throwing a knee strike up. Again, we stress safety and also, find a partner that you're comfortable in training with and is comfortable and willing to allow you to work these techniques on him."
