"MICHAEL LEWIS: Michael Lewis with the Yeshua Ryu Martial Arts on behalf of Expert Village. We are talking today about arm bars, how to apply them and how to apply them safely. Now, we're going to show you the same technique of applying an arm bar to the outside of the arm but also transitioning back into a shoulder crank. And pretty much like we did before by using--by going on the inside applying an arm bar going to a shoulder crank, this time it is from the outside of the body. So he steps and throws a punch, I block it out of the way. When I block it out of the way, again, I make sure to grab his arm and so that I can flip it over. Turn a little bit here so you guys can see. I grab on to his arm here just like I would. I would actually position more like this, and then I just twist back over for the shoulder crank. I keep my hands exactly the same. All I had to do is twist. And keep in mind that my elbow can come up, strike him in the face and I can apply a good technique to his arm. Again, do not apply this too close; apply it away from the shoulder. And that is how you are going to apply a shoulder crank from an arm bar going to the outside of the body."
