"Now we're going to practice a technique that we call half moon primarily because of the foot work on the ground. So she throws her punch, I block, but another important thing for me to be able to execute this technique is not only just blocking her to the side, but blocking her to the side and spin around so that I continue her momentum all the way through. So we'll try that again. We're actually going to do it nice and slow so that you guys can see. She throws a punch. I come across. I spin her from here, and once she reaches the half moon point ok, she's gone from one side to the other. Step through one more time. From right there what you do is you change your momentum while hers is still going in, and you can take your rich hand strike where you fold the thumb in, use it, or you can just take your arm and just clothesline the technique. So we'll do it a little bit quicker so you can see it. She throws a punch. I step around. Clothesline right there into the neck. It's a technique that can also be used as a throw depending on your foot work. So experiment with a little bit, find out what you're able to put into it, again be careful because it's a technique where if you mess up and you clothesline somebody they're probably not going to want to train with you anymore. So that is what we call half moon from a outside position."
