"Now we're going to show you a very simple technique that fits in really well with being on the outside of the body that is actually fitting in a choke from the rear. So, she throws her punch, very simple, this right hand slides up around the neck. Now this does have to be done with speed because you have to keep in mind that the person, in reality, would also be trying to move. So you really have to be forceful. It's helpful that when you block and grab this hand that you pull downwards and try to get them off balance and at the same time, wrap up your right hand around. You can take your left hand, grab it if you want, place it behind, actually execute a good choke. Or if you need to, you can just grab both together and then if you want, you can take the person down to the ground. Always keep in mind, when you get a choke, be very careful. Again, exercise safety. Let's do it one more time. Block, and when I come in, I'm not slamming into it, I'm very gently just coming up, and choking. Now, also keep in mind, as far as tapping goes, tapping is a little safety measure here; so if the choke begins to get too tight, the person who's having the technique executed on them, can tap their own leg or tap their partner's leg, just in case they do not hear. So, as soon as you hear the tap, then you're able to let go. So, that's it, that's how to get into our rear choke from an outside position."
