"Stretching Using Integration of the Upper Body - Again, bring your legs nice and wide again. I'm just going to take one hand. We're going to reach up and over. Try to watch the palm as you're reaching straight across, horizontally that way, and you're going to take the other hand and slide underneath. We're looking to stretch your torso and your shoulder girdle, in the frontal plane action. You hold it for said number of breaths, depends on how warm you are. The warmer you are, the deeper you may want to take the stretch and take longer breaths. Then you come over to the other side. Same scenario. You're reaching horizontally with your hands. Match the number of breaths that you had on the first time. Then we're going to bring the hands forward and we're going to bring the hands behind. You're going to use one hand to help lift the other hand as you inhale. Bring them forward again and switch to the other side. This stretch will really help open up your anterior side of your shoulder and also your chest. Once you do those, then you can take your hands like you're giving yourself a big hug. With your fingers, you're going to try to walk around towards the back so then you start to stretch your rhomboids and your lats, and also your rear delts. That's stretching for the upper body."
