Oblique Medicine Ball Toss - Jonesy and I are going to show the proper mechanics for oblique medicine ball toss. Jonesy, can you get down for me? We're going to have Jonesy getting down on one knee and then he's going to have the other knee up in front on a 90 degree angle in his knee joint, also hip joint. Also, the way that he's going to toss the ball, that knee will be up. It will add towards the exercise. I'll take the medicine ball. I'll toss him the ball. He's going to rotate with it and then bring the ball back to me. Rotate, and back. Just like that. The further you extend your arms out with the rotation, the more torque you'll produce and the more strain and force your obliques will have to absorb. Good. Of course you can go even further back and then you can workout with this, with targets. Your partner can move, and you're going to have target drills as well. But right now, just work to be nice and steady, working with the idea that you're trying to keep your pelvis stable and immovable as you're rotating around. That's the oblique medicine ball toss.
