"White crane spreads it wings into walking obliquely. The body turns slightly off to the left, right hand comes across the body. Left hand comes up and over. Shifting the weight to the right, the hands come together, left leg comes up. Stepping out to the left, weight remaining on the right. Right hand comes down near the knee. Left hand comes across the body as the right hand crosses the chest. Left hand coming up into five point star, right hand crossing body and settling. Walking obliquely into brushing knee. This posture is also known as diagonal single whip. The hands come down around the left knee. The weight stays on the left. Pulling up to the right, the hands come back and settle in front. Diagonal single whip, come down, hands moving together towards the left knee, pulling upwards, body turns to the right and then comes to the center."
