"Hi! I'm Mark Wilson with United Soccer Academy. We are here with Expert Village and we are looking at dribbling, and we are going to focus on turns and moves to beat defenders. We are going to take a look at the scissors turn. This turn is actually good in speed, but first off all I'm going to break it down so you can see the mechanics of the move. So as shown here without pressure, the scissors turn involves stepping into the ball, around, dropping our shoulders to fake the defender, and then pushing pass with the opposite foot and into space past the defender. Every turn or move that we take defenders on must be executed at speed for it to be effective. Let's take a look with our demonstrators. Go ahead.
