on 10/8/2008 I liked this video very much. As an amateur martial artist I like to see forms of combat which focus on functionality. Too many people see outrageous and flashy moves in martial arts films and try to emulate that, forgetting that the original purpose of martial arts is defending oneself or protecting others in an effective and efficient manner as possible.

"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Mater David Herbert from the World Martial Arts Center in New York City today I will be demonstrating as a weapon specialize chopsticks fighting techniques. Okay for this one opponent grabs and he can be pulling or it can be pulling setting up a strike. So as he pulls my hand is covering and I shift to bottom position and I attack right away groan. Then I come with the hand and over in a locking technique down, from here I strike upward then finish downward. Once again this technique could be very dangerous if you try this at home you may kill them so you don't want to do that. So in real time as soon as he grabs. "
