"Wind direction is absolutely key. When you're a beginner, you never want to go out in an offshore breeze or a very onshore breeze. Pretty simple, offshore breeze, you know, Cuba, don't go there, we're not allowed to anyways. Onshore breeze, my house, the beach, pedestrians, people, you don't want to get blown into them either. What you want is a perfect side shore breeze. And, you know, it's going to be the best kind of wind too because, if you can look up and down the beach, you're going to see that there's really no obstructions if you have a solid side shore breeze. So you're going to have consistent airflow, where it's not going to be too gusty. If you have something like a side off, it's just going to be gusty. All of a sudden, you're going to power then not, power and not, and it can just be really frustrating. So, you want to look for smooth, consistent wind, appropriate direction and definitely check your forecast before you go out, multiple times."
