"MATT VANSTEENIS: Hi. My name is Matt Vansteenis on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to learn how to snowboard the terrain park here at beautiful Mt. Brighton in Brighton, Michigan. All right, in this clip we're going to talk about the differences between switch riding and fakie riding. Now, there really isn't any difference. Switch kinda goes by if you're riding where you're going to hit a jump or a feature or something switched, then you'd be riding the opposite foot forward. So for myself, switch is riding with my right foot forward. When you come off the stuff, fakie, like on this wallride, it's just coming off switch. So, it's really kinda the same thing. It's the same concept. It's just you're going the opposite way. So instead of saying, "I came off that jump switch, I came off of it the fakie," it sounds a little bit better, so yeah."
