Today we're going to learn how to snowboard the terrain park here at beautiful Mt. Brighton in Brighton, Michigan. In this clip we're going to do backside 180s. So, if you've never done a backside 180, start some place small like do them off of a roller or on flat ground. And then you can step up to like jumps or the sides of rails, or we're going to hit this right here, this is a nice, easy mellow transition on the side of this jump. So, is what you're going to do is when you drop in, don't go too fast 'cause you'll overshoot the landing if you're not used to it. So, when you come in, just come in straight, stay on your toe side. So, when you back seven here you're going to be up on your toes. After you pop an ollie, you're going to turn your shoulders, and it's all in your shoulders; shoulders and head. So, wherever you look, that's where your body is going to go. So, drop in, look up at the top of the lip there, you're going to pop an ollie, turn your shoulders, keep your knee sucked up, keep looking to where you want to land and when you stop at the 180 drop your feet and ride away clean.
