"After you've tried hopping down stairs you can try going in the opposite direction. It may seem like it's easy once you've mastered going down but it's much, much, much more physically strenuous. So once again, start out with a smaller flight of stairs. Start out maybe even on a curb because they're about the same height. And basically you're going to use the same technique that you did when you were going over an obstacle. So you ride up to it so that your wheel is parallel and then you're going to allow your body to lean. And for stairs you're going to have to lean a lot because you're going up high and you're not landing down on the other side. You're landing high too. So you have to lean a lot, allow your body to fall over the direction you want to hop a lot and then you can hop the unicycle up to keep it underneath you. Once again you can use little hops to regain your balance once you begin up the stairs but it is more efficient if you just use one hop going up each stair. So, here we go. So get your feet in the right place. Hop over to where you want to start. Allow your body to fall and continue up the stairs. And that is how you hop up a flight of stairs."
