"All right, how are we feeling? We're going to work on the back. We're going to get that V-shape, that everybody wants so badly; all the strong guys. Come on, now here we go. Here we're going to do what we call the lat pull down. It's going to work on your lats. Back here it will give you that V-shape. You want to hold the bar slightly wider than your shoulders. Up here you can see the bar, there is basically a line here. There's a line here. You don't want to go like this. That's too narrow. This is too wide. It's going to work too much pressure on your shoulders. Unnecessary pressure. You want to hold it barely outside your shoulder width. You want to sit down here, go all the way in. Keep your knees and legs under this pad bar here. Arch your back slightly and push your chest forward. Your shoulders are relaxed. They're not here, but they're relaxed. See the difference if I go like this? You want to pull with your lats not with your shoulders. You look up very slowly, pull it down. Your arms down like this and bring it down to your upper chest. Then bring it up slowly. Again you don't want to shrug your shoulders back as opposed to doing this. You want to keep them like this. Just so you're working you lats the way you're supposed to work not shrugging your shoulders. Bring it down. Breathe, and bring it up slowly. Inhale or exhale, as long as you breathe and make sure that you don't hold your breath in. Eight to twelve reps. Don?t go too heavy, not necessary. Take your time. Everything takes time, doesn't come over night. Bring it down keep your elbows down. The elbows are not back here they're down here. And you're going to feel this believe me. And up. Bring it down, slowly up. You don't want to jerk this. See a lot of guys go like that. What happens is you're going to mess up your lower back. You don't want to do that. Keep your back locked in. Only thing that's going to move is your arm. Bring it down to here, your upper chest. Touch your chest. Bring it up slowly, you don't want to pull a muscle. That'll set you back a couple of weeks at least. Breathe. Bring it down. Boy I love these. This is better than sex."
