Video: Power Moves in Pole Dancing

I'm Meagan Burroughs. I'm the owner of "Adult Dance and Fitness". And I'm going to show you one of our Power Moves. A Power Move is strictly strength. Something that you would probably see a man doing most often, but we're going to do it here, today. To do this trick, you'll want to start with a thick pad like we have here. This one, you could injure your head or your neck, very, very easily. You're going to stand in front of the pole, about a foot. You're going to put your head down the pole, and then your arms go behind you. Make sure that you have the flexibility in your shoulders to hang like this. If you don't, you could injure yourself. And then, what you're going to do is you're going to bend your legs slightly and then you're going to jump up, hook your legs around the pole and hang. And that's my Power Move. I'm Meagan Burroughs, and I'm going to show you how to combine some of your spins. The first spin that you have is the Fireman and the second spin that we have is the Martini. So, we're just going to simply combine those into one spin. This next combo that we're going to do is a Helicopter into a Cheerleader. And so, I'll show you the Helicopter first. That's the Helicopter. And, this is the Cheerleader. So, I'm just going to simply combine those two. And there's your second combination.
