"MADISON CHASE: So for the long, lean leg machine workout, alignment and breathing is just as important with any exercise that you're going to be doing. So you want to make sure that you're able to wiggle your toes when you're sitting back in your heels. So that's the basic squat movement. For proper alignment for a lunge, you want to make sure, again, your feet are hip-width apart. You want to bring one leg out, and when you're doing the lunge, your back leg is straight. And again, whenever you're working the active leg, you want to make sure all that weight is in the heel, and you're going to come straight down. That's a basic lunge, your basic alignment for the lunge. And also, you want to make sure from the side, that your knee is in line with your ankle. When you're coming down, keep that chest back and up, glutes tucked in, abs sucked in at the same time. Okay? And that's a basic lunge. And we're also going to incorporate our weights, and our bands, and our bench, and remember, if you don't have a bench, you could also use your bed or a sturdy chair. If you don't have the bench at home, use your bed, the edge of your bed--make sure it's sturdy--or use a sturdy chair. So we're going to incorporate the weights and we're going to incorporate the band, and we're also going to incorporate the bench in the long, lean leg machine workout. So get ready."
