"Hi I'm Mark, I'm here with Expert Village at the Competitive Edge Cyclery in Upland, to explain how to buy a quality bike from the bike shop. Here is perfect example of a light weight bike. This particular bike is made from carbon fiber. Very, very, very, light. The equipment that is on here also is high end, and is very light. The whole bike weight wise is about sixteen pounds. What that's going to translate into is the ability to climb hills a lot easier, which in turn is going to make it more enjoyable. Obviously, with a light weight bike you have to be more careful when riding on the road. If you see pot holes, you do not want to go in the pot holes. Going over railroad tracks, you have to disperse the weight evenly. Other than that, just get out there and ride."
