"Hi, I am Mark. I am here with Expert Village at the Competitive Edge Cyclery in Upland to explain how to buy a quality bike from a bike shop. Okay, let's talk comfort. This is a comfort style bike, most people refer to it as a hybrid bike. What makes it different than the other bikes are a couple of things. Number one, you sit very upright on this bike and it has an adjustable stem with a rise bar on here so as you sitting you sit a little more upright which is easier on the back. It also has a very wide saddle and most of these bikes come with a shock suspension seat post for added comfort. This also comes with 700 c hybrid style wheels and this is very good because this will roll very well on the road and if you hit a light fire road it will be okay. But the whole idea behind this bike is to sit a little more upright, be very comfortable and it also has multiple speeds. For instance on this bike it has 21 gears and it will allow you to go anywhere up the hill or if you are on the road it will still pedal very nice. It also comes with a front shock and this here is designed to absorb some of the bumps which again is easier on your back and neck."
