"In this clip we are going to be working on the leg extension. Once again every gym has got their own. There are so many different types. So make sure you understand the equipment before you start using it. There is generally an ankle adjustment in front of you, right here and then there is a back pad adjustment commonly in most of these pieces of equipment here. So you want to make sure first and foremost that you knees line up with pivot point, is that simple. Wherever the machine pivots at that where your keens have to sit. So once you got that set up you are ready to go. Moderate weight is always, nothing too heavy, you do not need to challenge yourself too much in the beginning. Keep your back firmly against the back pad, take your time, extend the weight up and bringing the weight down. You never need to go all the way down to the bottom where the weights touch, just take your time, extend ot up nice and even, flex the quadriceps, right here flex these nice and hard and bring it down nice and smooth about 20 reps is a good number. You can always do more if you like but I recommend if you are a beginner do not do too many more than that or you will not be walking right for a few days. So take your time, get a nice extension and squeeze just like that, that is a leg extension."
