" Ok. So, there are several things that you need to really have a good walk. So, before we even start with the tips of burning more calories. Let's talk about things that you need to have a great walk. First of all, you need a great pair of walking shoes. Now, walking shoes are good. You want something that's light and breathable. Also, want something with a beveled heel. Because, when you walk you're going to walk heel to toe. That's the proper way to walk, so you can reduce your risk of injury. And, when you're walking heel to toe your going to want something that's beveled that has a little bit more thickness to the heel. Ok. So, you want to wear comfortable clothing. Depending on where you are, where you're walking and the weather. You want to dress accordingly. If it's cold outside, then you want to bundle up. And, if it's a little warmer you might want to wear less clothing. But, also remember to always protect your skin. The sun can be very damaging. So, make sure you slather on the sun block or just wear clothing that will protect you from the sun. Also, water. Always remember to have water with you on your walk. You want to have a nice water bottle full of water because, it's good to stay hydrated before, during and after a workout. And, then of course optional things would be music. You can take music with you, if you want to just to keep up your spirits with good music while you're walking. Or, sometimes music just helps you go a little bit further. And, then the last thing that's optional is the pedometer. Now, you can get a pedometer anywhere. It's a good idea to take a pedometer with you just so you can really have a way to gauge how far you've gone. Also just a way to be competitive with yourself. You may want to go and see if you are going further and increases your distance as time goes on. So, those are the basics for having a good walk."
