"Okay, now we're doing some unconventional shooting positions. A little awkward, but for training purposes they're very fun. We're going to get into now advancing on a target while walking -- and engaging the target. Can it be done? Absolutely. Is it done like you may see on television? Absolutely not. You'll see on television, people will run at a dead sprint and they're firing in front of them -- in real life they haven't hit anything. They probably hit everything around what they wanted to hit, but not the thing they wanted to hit. There's an art to it, there's a secret to it. Over the years, I've picked up tad bits of information from different instructors throughout the world and seen how they do it. The art to it is, basically, if you're in your interview stance, or your normal shooting stance -- for me it would be the Weaver -- and I'm here, okay. And if I want to walk, you basically walk on a tightrope. What I mean by that is your feet stay shoulder width apart, and you imagine two imaginary tightropes in front of you. So when I start walking, it's not an actual walk. It's a heel, toe, heel toe. And I'll demonstrate -- when I say heel, toe -- when I'm firing -- heel, toe -- heel, toe, heel, toe, heel, toe, heel, toe. That's the movement that I'm going forward. I'm not running."
