"Okay. Now we've gone over the 3 types, I gave you a little bit of demonstration of what they look like. Now what we're going to do is we're going to go over them one by one, first being the weaver stance. What I'm going to do with the weaver stance is I'm actually going to draw firearm that I have on my side, which is clear and safe. There is no live rounds on the range what so ever. In this firearm, there is no magazines so the weapon's clear and safe. I'll be using this as demonstration pointing it in a safe direction as I demonstrate the weaver stance. First, what I would like to do with the weaver stance is put my feet shoulder width apart, my hands are up, and I'm going to slightly bring my strong side, which is my right side, foot back slightly. I'm going to bend at the knees a little bit. Not to the point where it's overly exaggerated, but slightly bend at the knees. What I'll do now is I'll draw my firearm, come to the low ready, and I'll punch my firearm out as I bend slightly forward and I roll my shoulders forward. The weaver stance will pretty much look like this. Bring it back in and I can reupholster my weapon. This again, for the law enforcement community, is considered and interview stance. When they encounter people in the street or they're dealing with a situation, most police officers or law enforcement they get themselves in that position because it is a position that they're stable from if they have to shoot, if they have to use a baton, pepper spray, or go defensive attack hands on. It's a very stable base for that as well for shooting. We just kind of took one and transferred it to the other. That's the weaver stance."
