"Hi! My name is Leta Koontz. I'm a yoga instructor at Schoolhouse Yoga located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. So if you're feeling pretty confident in your backbend and you want to start working on standing up from backbend, best way to do this is to do it with a wall behind you. Come up to your back and bring your head to the wall. Make sure you keep your belly drawn in and your tail bone tucked under as you do your backbend. Bring your hands so your wrists are against the wall, come to the top of your head. When you're ready push up into backbend. Good. From here, you're going to walk your feet in towards your hands. You can keep your heels up off the floor, and you're just going to start to walk up the wall. Keep your belly drawn in as you come to standing. "
