"Hi! I'm Liz with Studio Soiree and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'd like to introduce you to spins. The spin in particular is the martini. I'll demonstrate it first and then I'll break it down for you. That's your martini. Whenever you're doing spins, you always want to focus on getting your strong hand, which for me is my right, on the top of the pole. You always want to start with 2 hands. If you're strong enough later, you can go let go of one. I'll demonstrate that too. We'll take our strong right hand on top. I'll take my outside leg, which is my left, give it a little bit of a swing. Wrap it around the pole, logging it here by my Achilles’ heel, and behind my knee I'm holding it tightly. I'm going to turn towards you and straighten and extend my right leg. We'll do it with a little bit of speed so you can see how you can take that spin to another level. Walking. Once you've been able to do it on your right, go ahead and take it left. Then if you're strong enough with both hands, let go of one. "
