"Hi, my name is Lucy Spain on behalf of Expert Village. Here to talk about cheerleading competitions. After the competition in each group, it's time to have an award ceremony. In the award ceremony, every squad is going to enter the competition floor and take a seat. You want to make sure you stay with your group and have fun. The hard part is over now it's time to relax. The judges are going to tally up all the scores, start with third place metals and go all the way up to the grand champion. When your squad is called, you want to make sure you have a representative one or two ready to go up and receive your prize. They are going to start with third place and go all the way up to first place. Just be prepared, be excited with any awards you get and make sure you applaud to the other teammates who win cause we are cheerleaders after all and we are all here to cheer on each other. Now even if you don't end up going home with a grand prize, most competitions will provide things just for competing. A lot of cheer leading competitions are going to send you home with really cool prizes like bags and they are also going to give you lots of cool stuff to bring home and show your school. Everybody is going to get a participation trophy to display at there school when they get home or at their gym. So just be happy to be there and enjoy the rest of your stay."
