"Now we're going to stretch our abdominal muscles. Whenever we do lots of crunches or core ab work, we want to make sure that we can get those abs nice and stretched out. There's a couple of exercises that I like for the abs and one I'll show you. Just cross your legs anyway you like and what I like to do for this one is bring my hands behind me and really just stretch up and then I can really feel the stretch all throughout the abdominal wall. So you want to make sure you're breathing. Then you can bring it down and really just wiggle around and feel the abs. Keep your posture nice and straight and then you can go forward another time if you like. So with the hands behind you supporting you, just push up and really feel that stretch in your abdominal wall. Now if this one is not something that you would like to do or it is uncomfortable, there is another stretch for your abs that's really simple. All you're going to do is lie down on your back, with your arms stretched over your head and your legs stretched out and what you're gonna do is really reach, reach, reach. Reach with your legs, straight out and then reach with your arms above you. So I'll show you how this one goes. So my arms are overhead and I'm reaching both my toes and my fingertips and the more I reach and stretch myself like a rubber band, the more I feel the stretch in my abs. It's great; you can just do it lying down on the floor. So these are two great ways to stretch your abdominals in the comfort of your own home."
