"Hello, I'm Kyle Brayer and your next in home chest workout will be the wide grip pushup. Just as when you're doing close grip pushups, you shift the weight to your triceps. A wide grip pushup will work more of your chest. So Carrie here is going to demonstrate. Rather than start on her toes, she's going to do a more beginner move which is starting on her knees. So she's going to be on her knees. She's going to put her hands out in front of her, so when she does come down, they're going to be directly below her shoulders. She's going to keep her hips as flat as possible and then she's going to put a bend in her elbows and come down and then pushup. We'll have her do three. Down and pushup, and one more. Down and pushup. You can come all the way up Carrie. Now if these get too difficult for you, you can always bring your hips up and stick your glutes in the air and hips in the air and that should make the move a little easier. So we'll demonstrate that. So her hips are going to stay up and then she's going to make a much shorter pushup. So she goes down and up. Okay and then we'll turn to the front. Same thing, on your knees. And you'll notice her back is straight as possible, she keeps her head in line with her neck and she's looking down at about a forty-five degree angle. Go ahead and go down and back up and one more Carrie. Down and back up. Perfect. That is a wide grip pushup. "
