"Hello, my name is Kyle Brayer, and your next in-home tricep workout will be a close grip pushup, also known as a triangle pushup. These are often used in the military, a variation of the regular pushup. When you bring your hands close together you actually work the tricep and less of the chest. So as a beginner you can start on your knees or on your toes. So for example, I'll start on my knees, I'm going to make a triangle with my hands. I want to drop my hips as much as possible, and then I come down bringing my chest over my hands and then push back up. Down and back up. As you can see I let my elbows naturally flare out to the sides. Down and back up. A more advanced technique would be to come up on your toes. Come down and back up. Ideally you want to keep your head facing forward, looking down at about a 45 degree angle. Down and back up. As you get more advanced you can pause at the bottom, and then push up. That is a triangle or close grip pushup. "
