"This is Kyle Hovercamp from Skatechurch in Portland, Oregon. On behalf of Expert Village, this is the tutorial of how to learn how to ollie on your skateboard. In this clip, I'm going to show you how to fall. Skateboarding would not be skateboarding without falling. It's going to happen. Some of them are going to be pretty hard. You have to just get up and try the trick again. I'm going to show you how to fall properly. The first thing that you want to do when you're falling is try to catch yourself. By try to catch yourself I mean if you're rolling and you hit something you try to run it off. You don't just let yourself fall on the ground. If you can't run it out when you're falling something that you might want to do is take most of the fall on your shoulder, your arms, and then try to roll it out. If you can't do that just fall on your butt. It might hurt your tailbone. Something that you should definitely not do is stick your arms out. That's the natural thing is when you're falling try to stop yourself with your arm, but you can break your arm or hurt your wrist. Something that I've done and it's not a good thing."
