"This is Kyle Hovercamp in Skatechurch in Portland, Or on behalf of Expert Village this is a tutorial on how to do a boardslide on your skateboard. In this clip we're going to be talking about sliding on the object there's 2 main things about sliding on the object speed and balance. The first one we're going to talk about is speed the faster that your going the farther you would slide and the easier it is to keep your balance. The second thing is balance the reason that balance is so important is becauase if you loose your balance then your going to fall and slip out and your boardslides done. So your going to want to keep your feet on the bolts the object in the middle of your board facing forward keeping your shoulders facing forward. So the main thing you want to do is concentrate staying on top of your board something that happens pretty easy when your doing a backside boardslide your board wants to keep going forward and your not committing and standing on top of your board so you slip out and land on your butt. If your doing a frontside boardslide something that can happen is your board still wants to go forward and your not on top of your board so you slip out and you can face that. So just remember when your on the boardslide to stay on top of your board like above it don't lean to far forward or don't lean forward at all don't lean backwards so just stay on top of your boardl"
