"Hello, this is Keith Sewell on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, we're going to take a look at how to play offense in volleyball. There are many ways to receive a serve, but a popular way is a classic W serve reception, where five players line up without overlapping to fill all the holes and cover a lot of ground. The only player that's not apart of the W is the setter, obviously, because he is going to be taking the pass and setting it. Often, there are as few a two designated serve receivers on the team because they're better than everybody else at passing. There's always a way to line up legally to allow these passers to pass every serve. The pass should always go to the setter who should be just right of center so that the middle can make approach just left of him. The setter will usually set over his back to set the right side hitter. Once the pass reaches the setter, there are many options the setter can do in terms of where he sets the ball and where the hitter will hit the ball. We'll talk about that in the next clip."
