"Now, we're in the cabin of the boat. This is the downstairs, the living area. A lot of boats have galleys and when you do the stowing for safety, we want to make sure that everything is cleared. So, if there's any bowls and cups, you want to make sure they're put away. All boats have storage areas. If there's any gear on board, the bags, we want those some place where they won't fly over. One of the easy places, if your boat has a head, or the restroom, is, you just take the bags and throw them in there and lock them up and then you know that they're safe. We have binders, we need to make sure that those are put away. So, you just look through the whole boat and you just make sure there's nothing that's going to go flying once you're under sail. As far as our acronym safety goes, the next item would be "T", and T stands for tides and currents. And, it's important, especially in some areas to check to make sure you know that, when the high tide will be and when the low tide will be and whether you're going to be sailing against a flood current, or a ebb current. And, so, you would consult a tide and currents book, we have one here for San Francisco Bay area. And, it will have your tides and currents based on certain key stations in the bay. And, you always want to make sure you check that before you go out, cause you don't want to run a ground or you don't want to be fighting currents coming back in."
