" Hi this Ken and I'm talking to you about the basics of golf. Now basically, golf is a game of relaxation, so a basic strategy is to be as relaxed as possible. You might hear the term yips Golfers get yips when they are putting. What happens is they hit the ball and the ball goes off line. The ball is supposed to go right straight through the hole or go with the break. Whatever is suppose to be. Something in them is nervous, and when they go to hit the ball it throws the ball off track.. So when you get over the ball for a putt, and the same thing for any shot, you get totally relaxed. Bend Your knees, take a deep breath, hit through the ball, try to keep the ball on line, imagine were you want the ball to go on the putting green, and aim towards that. Once again being relax, keeping your arms stiff, going through the ball, being relaxed can take away the yips Again the yips comes because you kind of choke, you are not having a nice relaxed pendulum stroke and it causes the ball to go off line.
