"KEVIN BARRETT: Getting old sucks. All right, here we are learning how to ride a wheelchair. Now, when you're start riding a wheelchair, you're going to just be pushing forward on both wheels, okay? Now, to push forward--I'm going to lock this brake here right now--you have this big wheel, right? And inside this big wheel, you have the big black circle that you can actually hold onto with your hand. Now, on both sides are these black handles, so you are going to want to push forward on each of these at the same time to go forward. If you accidentally push one too far, you're going to start turning. So, make sure you push them both at the exact same amount and then you start going forward, just like this. That's to go forward, take a guess on how you go backwards. Go ahead and push them both backwards, just like that, now you're going backwards. Now you are the brakes for this wheelchair, okay? However much you push is how fast it's going to go, and if you want to slow down, just push less, hold yourself. If you're going down a hill, just make sure and hold it. That is how you go forward and backward in a wheelchair. Also, if you need to stop completely, just lock up the brakes and you can stop in one place, alright? So, that's how you use a wheelchair."
