"Hi, I'm Kevin Byford with the Ski and Snowboard Schools of Aspen on behalf of the Expert Village. Okay, so finally here we are on the slopes. Now we have both our feet in. The safest thing we can do now is to traverse across the hill on our uphill edge. For me right now my uphill edge, if you look, is my heels. Slope is going this way, if I put pressure on my toe side edge, I'm going to fall, so I'm going to keep the pressure on my heel side edge, and just traverse nice and slowly, in control, across the hill. Staying with all my pressure on my heels. And there you have it. Nice and safe. Okay, now we're going to get on our toe side edge. Again, all our weight is on our uphill edge, because this time we've got toe side. And we're just going across the hill, in control. Good stance, my knees are bent, arms by my side, looking where I'm going."
