" Next we have a diving knife. This is used for scuba divers. You will notice here on the top of the blade there are serrations here and there is a little end cut right here. This is primarily used for cutting fishing line. A diver may be under water and they get entangled with fisher line, and they need to get themselves untangled as quickly as possible. They would just take enough line, settle into here, pull and this cut right in here has a blade sharpened and it will cut the line. This serrated part here is used for cutting rope, and the blade here is just used for standard cutting, and usually has a point with this also that can be used to stick. As you notice, it has a gold finish to it. This is a titanium coating. It is designed to be corrosion proof in salt water. A true corrosion proof knife would be solid titanium. This happens to be titanium coated, but it is still a very useful knife for a scuba diver. "
