" Hi! This is John. Let’s talk about each knife particularly. What we have here is a copy of a Bowie knife that was designed by Colonel Jim Bowie back in the 1800’s. As you may remember your history, he was at the Alamo. This knife can be used because of its weight for chopping and thrusting. It is a very good tool that was used by the frontiersman to use in place of an axe if need be, to clear out brush or to skin an animal or if his life depended on it, use in a fight to defend his life. The weight of it can be used also as a hammer. Although the fine wood like you have here, that might be one of the last resorts that you want to go to with this. It is a very well made knife and has been copied and made in different forms and fashion over the 200 year history of this knife."
