on 7/17/2009 I assure you these drills are not good. Josh Blair is a BAD coach as he was a player. Beginners should start with learning to trap the ball, passing, getting better touches etc. They shouldn't really be learning poly metrics if they can't even pass it right. What a waste of time and energy to make these films, I mean come on now did you really have to do a full minute or two of each drill? Wow what an amateur!

on 8/2/2008 Your demonstration is not receiving on the thigh.. you are pushing the ball away with the thigh.. something you rarely do in the game. When receiving a ball at thigh height, the idea is generally to control it and bring it down to foot.. not to push it away with the thigh, as there is limited control and power when using the thigh.

on 8/2/2008 HOLY --, WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING?! i've just watched about three of your videos and this is too ridiculous. Why would anyone ever practice hitting the ball with their thigh? you said you would be "receiving" ; the ball, when you are just hitting it away. anyone can hit the ball with their thigh!! you should NOT be posting these videos as if you were an expert. you are a HIGH SCHOOL COACH. stick to that. i play professional soccer, and trust me, these guy doesn't know s**t. please stop watching this crap!!
