on 7/17/2009 I assure you these drills are not good. Josh Blair is a BAD coach as he was a player. Beginners should start with learning to trap the ball, passing, getting better touches etc. They shouldn't really be learning poly metrics if they can't even pass it right. What a waste of time and energy to make these films, I mean come on now did you really have to do a full minute or two of each drill? Wow what an amateur!

on 8/2/2008 i could do this better than that when i was 7. and as cosi said its not between the ankles its between the instep and you need to have your legs further apart than that so that the ball has room to actually move

on 8/2/2008 First of all I have to say fair play for trying to put something back into football and trying to help develop young talent. I have watched most of your videos and I could be quick to criticise in most but i do believe there is no value in that so I will be constructive. I also do understand how difficult it is to broadcast to younger kids because they need to be able to see what is happening. To address this problem the use of slow motion in some parts of the video would be appropriate.
Firstly I feel you need to show a bit more passion in the training exercises you are demonstrating, a major part of football is passion and youngsters need to have this in everything they do in football including practicing the basics. Your enthusiasm in some of the clips is clearly lacking. If possible try and find clips of ex England and current Newcastle United coach Kevin Keegan and he will show how far enthusiasm can go.
I hope this has been in some way helpful because I know you are doing an incredible thing passing on your knowledge of the beautiful game but remember you are an ambassador for the sport, kids will look up to you on how they should go about business. That is why passion and enthusiasm should feature heavily in all of your clips.
Thanks you for your time.
