"Hi, my name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village. Today I'm going to teach you how to become a competitive baseball player. In this segment we're going to talk about preparing yourself in a batting cage. Now this is the best practice regiment for any competitive baseball player if you want to get your timing on average fastball pitching by any pitcher you are competing against. Batting cage helps not only with timing, hand eye coordination and control at any desire speed you put this machine to. Now whenever you go to a batting cage there is a certain speed you like to set it on the faster you master this the quicker your hands will develop. Now it's very very important that if you are a beginner at doing the machine you want to set it on slow because that way you get the hand of getting the hand eye coordination. Once you improve you speed up the machine and improve your hand eye coordination and improve the timing so when you get in the game you are able to pick up fastballs much much easier from a machine when you are practicing."
