Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is Julio Anta of Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florida, and my website is www.miamikettlebell.com. And we are going to show you in this kettlebells for martial artists, the snatch punch. Same thing as the one before, but now we are putting the power of the punch into the snatch to make you more powerful. And again, everything is in the hips, 5-25 repetitions; to start off only do five repetitions to get perfect move. Again as we talked, we let it swing back, butt out, C curve, shoulders back, eyes focused, bring it up, dip down in a half squat, punch the sky, bring it in this time instead of swinging back down, punch out and down. Watch the move…breathe. Breathing is very important, and as you saw how the power of the punch came in, and in and out. Your punch should always be in and out fast, and that’s the same move we did; we brought it in and brought it back down."
