Video Transcript

"Hi my name is Julio Anta of Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florida and my website is www.miamikettlebell.com. And continuing your moves for kettlebells for marital arts, I want to show you the most basic move; works every point of your body from your toes to your neck and your fingers. It is called the swing. You got to have perfect alignment to do this correctly, and this weight for me is heavy; for some stronger people that might not be. So watch what I am going to do. I am going to pop my hips up when I swing it, all ballistic, bring it chin, eye, no higher than eye level, weight on my heel, bursting up, belly button to the sky…and there’s different versions of it and I’ll show you real quick. The regular swing. You can see my first one didn’t go all the way up, so I need to come up; or I can do one-handed; or they call hand to hand switching, popping those hips; or I can juggle, hand to hand training too. They are all different versions of the swing, working your hips, working your core, excellent for any martial artists, grappler, standup fighter, boxer or anything."
