" Hi! My name is Julio Anta from Anta’s Fitness & Self Defense in Miami, Florida. My website is www.antakungfu.com. We are brining to you southern Kung Fu and as I said earlier stance training is the basic. Your foundation is your stance. So we need to know how to shift our stances without loosing balance. So I am going to be showing you how to shift your horse stance to your front stance, which is an incredible training tool to strengthen your legs and build a strong Kung Fu foundation. It all depends, you can put your hands here or you can bring them up here to make it a little harder and workout your shoulders. So, first thing is lets go into a proper horse stance. Now make sure you lift up your heel, turn completely your hips all the way, and bring the back foot straight and back. To get back, you lift up your heel and come back. So watch a few. Or if I want to go to front stance now I lift up both heels not just my rear heel and turn. My hips are totally forward with the same way that I explained, a front stance somebody tries to kick I can block or if they do kick me I can come down. So that is the foundation of southern styles Kung Fu, your stance training."
