" Hi my name is Julio Anta, Anta Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florida and my website is www.miamikettlebell.com and the next move I am going to do is the clean and press. This is also weight lifting move done with Indian clubs but it is a totally different move. We are going to do it with light weight so you would have to do high repetitions but you could also go for strength training with a heavier Indian clubs. And what we are going to do, let’s imagine this was a heavyweight to have correct form. We are going to swing a few times if it was heavy and for the first move, clean it, use your legs, press it. It’s like a power cleaning press. Bring it down and swing. You don’t hold it up long like I did. It is for instructional purpose. One more, push with your legs and down, especially if the weight is heavy so the complete move will be like this; clean, press. If it’s a lightweight like this, you don’t have to use your legs. You could grind it and down but if the move is a little heavier we use our legs to absorb the impact and meticulous power. So again, with a lightweight we can go here and here and with a heavier weight, is dip, catch it, dip, press it and back down. So that is the clean and press."
