Video Transcript

" Hi my name is Julio Anta from Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florida and my website is www.miamikettlebell.com and the next move I am going to show you with Indian Clubs is an Olympic move called the snatch but it is done differently when you are using the clubs. Again, it’s all ballistic swinging as you can see. This is not too heavy but I am starting to show you if it were heavier, I would start swinging, I come up, I dip under and I catch it up the snatch. So don’t stay up as long this is for instructional purposes I am holding it. I will show you the correct move. Working my legs pretty much the entire body including my wrist and then if I happen to use a little heavier Indian club and 10 pounds doesn’t seem heavy for this it’s heavy, for me anyway. I would have to dip under more and swing a little more to start. Come under, dip under, catch it, balance and come back down. Swing, balance, back down. Utilizing as you can see every part, every muscle in my body. So as you saw, this is circular strength training using my whole body and tightening up for the wrist. "
