"Okay now what we're going to do is we're going to cover V-Step in a straight line, whereas we covered it off to the side and then back, we're going to do this straightforward now. So we start from our central point again, and we step forward. Now where we did the same thing and we stepped in, now we're just going to step back. So we take that and we add our half turn and we step back, and then we do the same thing, we step out with the opposite leg. Now how this applies really well is say you're here and you hit a punch and you want to 360 forward but you're too close to the judges. A way that you can get away with doing it is you're here, you spin, you roll back, step out. Now you've covered no distance at all but you've added movement, a spin and some creativity, and now you still haven't intimidated the judges. You're not going to get downgraded. It looks a lot better and you're covering less distance. Now you can save that distance moving for the points where you can really use it, say from corner to corner. But if you're already up front and you need to keep going forward to finish, because that's how your combination works, make sure that this is something that you can really practice to apply that, out to one side and forward."
