"Hi, I'm Karun. I'm the head instructor of Brazilian Jujitsu at the Academy of Martial Arts, and today I'll be speaking on behalf of expertvillage.com, on how to do an arm lock, along with some continuations, also. Now we're going to continue with the same entry, but we're going to offer some different situations, on how your opponent might respond, and how you can continue, so once again, he pushes. I enter, secure my position, get the arm. As I go back, he defends by holding his arm, so he's not allowing me to get the arm locked. What I want to do first, in this position, is to increase my position, and get closer to him, so I'm going to change my arms, push myself forward, to tighten up, and secure my position. For this particular grip that he has, I don't know if you can get a close-up shot. This is a common grip that the people use when they're trying to hold their arms back. What I'm going to do, is try to create a continuous pull, back, so his muscle memory gets used to resisting in this direction. I pull straight back, and with my other hand, I'm going to change directions. I'm going to grab his wrist, and then once again, straighten out, and go for the arm lock. Once again, this is Karun, and I thank you for watching these techniques, on behalf of expertvillage.com. If you need any more information, you can reach our website at sabjj.com. Have a great day."
